Foreign nationals entering Korea must possess a valid passport and a Korean visa issued by a Korean Embassy or consular office in their country. However, citizens of many countries may enter Korea visa-free for a limited period under specific conditions. To determine whether you qualify for visa-free entry and to check other entry requirements, please contact the nearest Korean Embassy or consular office in your country or visit the following websites for confirmation.
For attending a conference, travelers typically need a C-3 (Short-Term General Visa), depending on the nature of their visit. The processing time for this Korean visa usually ranges from 5 to 15 business days after all required documents have been submitted. However, processing times may vary depending on your country of residence, the specific requirements of the Korean Embassy or Consulate, and any additional documentation requests. To ensure timely processing, it is strongly recommended to apply at least 4 to 8 weeks before your travel date. For detailed guidance, please contact the Korean Embassy or Consulate in your region.
ICOI AP 2025 Secretariat provides a letter of invitation to attendees who paid the registration fee. If you need this letter for your visa application, you can request the letter by providing your information through the 'Application' button. (It will take 2~5 business days.) The ICOI AP 2025 Secretariat kindly recommends completing the registration before requesting the invitation letter.
Applicants can print out the invitation letter once the secretariat confirms and issues the invitation within 2-5 working days.
If you need the original copy of the invitation letter, the fee will be charged to you to send the copy via EMS. For more information, please email the Secretariat at icoiap2025@gmail.com.
